Dunlace School Council

Your school council raises money to support school programs, to host parent information sessions, and implements many programs and activities that benefit the students. We continue to support the Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Program which takes a transdisciplinary approach to inquiry and problem based learning.  STEM fosters collaboration, creativity, and innovation to ALL students at Dunlace at ALL grade levels.

The STEM Program is in its third year. Students at Dunlace are privileged to benefit from the visionary leadership of our teaching staff and to be strongly supported by the Parent Council to financially support these learning initiatives.

Given the high impact of these programs, the Parent Council is excited to kick off our Annual Fundraising Campaign. Last year, we raised $8 000 and spent over $34 000 on Technology for our school. We are hoping to raise even more now that we have seen the benefits of the STEM program.

We strongly urge you to consider a donation of $50 per child which is approximately $5.00 per month. We understand that while this might not be possible, any contribution will make a cumulative impact to this enriching endeavour.

We are looking forward to continuing to connect with Dunlace Parents in the future, and would like to thank you in advance for your support.  If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the School Council Chair, Dev Benham, at
